Iphone or iPad (iOS 16 or later)

It is important to remember that your password is case sensitive, that is, A and a are not the same. It is also important to understand that repeated attempts to authenticate with an incorrect password can lead to a temporary block on your public IP Address. If this is the case, then it will expire in 1 hour, or you can contact the helpdesk and raise a ticket to have it removed sooner and providing your public IP Address.

To setup email on your iphone/ipad first go to "Settings", then down to "Mail", then Accounts, then "Add Account"

Now select "Other"

Now Select "Add Mail Account"

Fill in the basic details, then select "Next"

Fill in the server information (In this example we're using dakota.gen.net.uk, but if you've been given andromeda.gen.net.uk or atlantis.gen.net.uk in your setup email, then substitute these). Your Username is your FULL EMAIL ADDRESS (Unless you've been told otherwise).

Now touch "Next"

Now touch "Save" and you're setup is complete.
